Here we have a Very Rare Red Wing Ash Receiver Donkey. This Donkey is in Outstanding Shape, there is a small spot on the lower lip that looks like the glaze is worn off, it is 4 5/8" tall. On the bottom it says Red Wing and has the number of 876. This Donkey was made sometime between 1936 and the early 1950's by the Red Wing Pottery Co. Cigarette ashes were kept, then they would fertilize houseplants with the ashes. In 2001 this item booked for $225 to $275 depending on condition, this one is Outstanding.
